So our friends all have birthdays in the first week of august so we rented a band. The owners of the Dutch Cowboy Dairy were nice enough the let us use one of their barns and we had a massive B-day bash for all the people who are getting older lol!
This is one of our friends (right) he plays in the band and also works with Jeff. His name is Dan and Dan has the most incredible voice and is so talented when it comes to music. If he wasn't so dang old we would put him on american Idol. Just kidding Dan we love you!

We were trying to dance but jeff and I are apparently all white. So we just partied till the cows came home.

We had a wonderful time and the band was great they kept us entertained the entire time the played great music. Hopefully we can do this again next year for all the birthday boys!

Fishing

We went fishing and stopped on the way home by this little spill way to play because it rained the whole time we were on the mountain and then conveniently quit when we were almost home.

It was kind of windy but pretty warm. So it is safe to say I am spending all of my time playing istead of studying for boards.

Jordyn found this flower and I followed her around for twenty minutes trying to get a good picture of her and it. She kept trying to make me smell it right when I would take the pic.

I thought this was a good picutre of Raechel. She is so pretty and so big!

Yes a day fishing in the rain makes me look very pretty. We did actually manage to catch a fish but it got away before I could take a picture. So far this summer we have lots of plans for fishing hiking and camping. We will also be taking a trip to Vegas for a few days so stay tuned I will post lots more!

Graduation!!

All done! I can't believe it all is over. I cried. I am really going to miss nursing school and all of the friends I made and the good times I had. It really is a time to reflect and look to the future. I sure hope the next two years bring as much joy, laughter and tears!

This is Raechel and Jordyn right after Raechel graduated from preschool . Jordyn is very proud!

Raechel and her teacher at graduation. It took Raechel half the year to learn to pronounce Mrs. Woolsey. She called her Mrs. Loosey for a long time! Mrs. Loosey was the best teacher we could have asked for!

This is right after Raechel got her diploma. She was so excited she sat back down and held it up for me too see. Through this year Raechel has learned to sing her ABC's and count to ten. She has also learned several songs with their dances. We are so proud!

summertimes

This pic was us having fun in the sun! We took the kids to fiesta fun and then went hiking up on the hill. We had a wonderful time and I didn't even have to get home to do homework!

As for the rest of the summer I fully intend to let my brain rot (after I pass my boards of course). I am starting this blog a few days after I have finished nursing school. Funny, now I am actually doing fun things that are worth blogging about. So I guess it is to say my life/blog begins here.
